Was Good Friday gonna be a good Friday?

Last Friday SVK played against Örebro quarterfinal #3 that turned out to be the last game in the series for Sollentuna ladies team. After promising match #2 where SVK showed its strengths, many expected a tough and interesting third game. 

Despite the expectations we did not see a great fight, Örebro started playing aggressive from the very beginning while Sollentuna had a slow start and a lot of problems in serve reception. Only in the third set SVK felt a bit more relaxed and put up some resistance but it wasn’t enough.

Örebro won the game 3:0 in sets and thereby advanced to the semifinals. No doubt SVK didn’t have their day, and this ended their competition for this season.

The entire season was very challenging for both players and the coaches. Fighting with different problems along the way it was not an easy road but the one we took anyway.
Despite that, the girls showed in multiple occasions that they have what it takes to beat even the best teams. 

We did end our journey in quarterfinals but next year we will come back even stronger and ready for new challenges!
